As my tenure as a Steering Committee member comes to a close, I can’t help but reminisce about the past three years. I have been surrounded by the most welcoming and under-standing people who have supported my growth both personally and politically.

ON-CAMPUS DEMOCRACY DOES NOT EXIST
We as students may have a student government, but that isn’t enough. We need a student union. A union to protect us while we organize to call out the undemocratic and unjust rules that limit our rights to freedom of peaceful expression.
Writing the Wrongs: Documenting Life Under Capitalism and Agitating for Change
To push back on the propaganda of capitalism, we must be able to skillfully articulate our arguments and critiques. This requires, first, developing our own thoughts. Writing forces us to lay out and defend our arguments with reasoning and evidence. It also compels reflection and aids in drawing lessons from our experiences.
Chapter Statement: All the Same Struggle
Poverty. Global warming. The ongoing genocide in Palestine. These are just some of the threats of our time, and to win against them we must recognize they are all the same struggle: The struggle against capitalism.
